Kennedy McAlister

Kennedy (she/her) hails from Oklahoma, where she spent a significant amount of time in libraries and onstage in musicals. She joined the Federation in March 2022 and loves the camaraderie of the Federation’s team, as well as getting a bird’s eye view of humanities councils across the nation. Her previous work has included program management for non-profit and community organizations that provide after-school classes for children in West Philadelphia, and she enjoys being able to breathe new life and creativity into a community. She received her B.A. in English and Vocal Performance from Oklahoma Christian University, and her Masters of Music in Conducting at the New England Conservatory of Music.
