Washington Square Park, Salt Lake City, Utah
This interactive booth will share content from the Peoples of Utah Revisited project and online website. Produced by the Salt Lake City Arts Council in partnership with the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, the Living Traditions Festival is a three-day multicultural festival. The festival supports the preservation of culturally diverse traditions, perspectives, and communities through the presentation of traditional music, dance, crafts, food, and more.
This program is part of By the People: Conversations Beyond 250, a series of community-driven programs created by humanities councils in collaboration with local partners. The initiative was developed by the Federation of State Humanities Councils and the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage.
