China Inn, West Branch, Michigan

Co-hosted by Michigan Humanities, West Branch District Library, and Ogemaw District Library, Great Michigan Read author Curtis Chin will visit the China Inn in West Branch on May 15 for a meal and moderated conversation with the restaurant’s owners. The free event will foster conversation about storytelling and Asian American identity and culture, and spark discussion about the cultural power of foodways. Pre-registration is required
