Mississippi Public Broadcasting’s hit radio show, Deep South Dining, and newest original television series, Southern Dish, will be broadcasting live from the Sipp and Savor festival at the MAX. They’ll be diving into the powerful food traditions and talented creators that make Mississippi a culinary destination against the backdrop of one of the state’s premier food festivals.
This program is part of By the People: Conversations Beyond 250, a series of community-driven programs created by humanities councils in collaboration with local partners. The initiative was developed by the Federation of State Humanities Councils and the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage.
