Save the Date: Humanities on the Hill 2026
Humanities on the Hill (HoH) is a three-day event taking place in Washington, DC during March 3-5, 2026 that brings together humanities councils from all over the greater United States. Participants will gather to prepare to meet with their legislators and to advocate for federal funding for humanities councils.
The event will begin on Tuesday afternoon March 3 with a Members’ Legislative Briefing, followed by a Social Hour in the evening. On Wednesday, you will be conducting your visits on the Hill, so please make sure to schedule your appointments in advance. We will conclude HoH with breakfast on Thursday morning March 5. The event hotel is The Royal Sonesta DC Dupont Circle, and we have secured nightly rate of $229 before taxes and fees. Registration for Humanities on the Hill will be $150 pp. More details will be released later in 2025.
