Supported by a collaboration between the Rhode Island Foundation, the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, and the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities, Expansion Arts, offers funding and technical assistance to community-based arts and humanities organizations in the form of consultation time, administrative support, and peer group work.
Organizations accepted into the program can expect to grow capacity in areas of governance, financial management, marketing and audience development, documentation and evaluation, leadership development, and strategic collaborations. Organizations build and learn together over time, share resources, and build valuable long-term relationships.
Application now open for the next three-year RIEAP cohort: Four organizations will be selected to participate and will receive annual grants of $10,000 each for three years. The program will begin in January 2019. Applications due July 20th.
New Intercultural Collaboration Grants: RIEAP is offering five seed grants of $5,000 each. Proposals now being accepted from current and alumni grantees of RIEAP for projects, programs, or planning that bring together people and organizations across cultures to share ideas, traditions, and heritages in order to strengthen our state’s cultural ecosystem, create sustainable connections between cultural organizations, and come from Rhode Island’s diverse communities.
