HumanitiesDC offers Open Humanities Grants which, according to their website, are “an open call for innovative humanities projects!” Intended to bring the humanities disciplines to the people of DC, the program encourages “creativity and open interpretation.”
These grants range from $5,000 to $15,000 and applications are due the first Friday in March. The review process then takes place throughout March and awards are announced in April.
