PROGRAM: Think & Drink

Virginia Humanities
Subject: Cross-Cultural Understanding, History, Varies Audience: All

On Oct. 22, VFH will host its first public “Think & Drink” event, a free community discussion program held in partnership with The Bridge PAI. NPR’s Lulu Miller, a current fellow at VFH, will read an excerpt from her forthcoming book, Why Fish Don’t Exist, with musical accompaniment by Charlottesville’s cello sweetheart Wes Swing. This will be followed by an audience Q&A on the dangers of categorization, the infallibility of the human mind to make sense of the world, and how and why to loop a cello.
