The Florida Humanities Council partnered with the Smithsonian’s traveling exhibition initiative Museum on Main Street (MoMS) to bring The Way We Worked to Florida. This exhibition was adapted from an original exhibition that was developed by the National Archives and that explores how work became such a central element in American culture.

Participating MoMS sites receive:

  • A free-standing traveling Smithsonian exhibit
  • $5,000 for programming (i.e. local exhibits, lectures, panel discussions, etc.)
  • A comprehensive Smithsonian press kit
  • Institutional capacity-building opportunities
  • More!
