Created by North Dakota Humanities Council in 2014, GameChanger is an annual ideas festival focused on an event or issue significantly changing the face of the world. During the festival, individuals with “insider knowledge” about the selected topic share their ideas for managing new challenges in ways that will lead to a better, more prosperous world. The festival’s target audience is composed of everyday people who are interested in stepping forward, working together, and discovering how to build a brighter future.

GameChanger 2017 will take place on Sept. 23rd and will focus on the topic “In Justice: Rethinking America’s Criminal Justice System.” Past GameChanger topics have included:

  • 2014 – “Between Two Worlds: America and the Middle East”
  • 2015 – “iHUMAN: How is Technology Changing Humanity?”
  • 2016 – “GameChanger: Pulitzer Prize Edition”

GameChanger is sponsored in part by KFYR-TV and Bismark Magazine.
