Effective in 2017, the council and have joined together to offer an even more diverse website to welcome artists and scholars representing the humanities who present activities that promote diversity, dialogue, and life-long learning.

On the website, there is comprehensive information and reliable ticket-purchase options for theater, dance, music and film, museums and galleries, classes, lectures, and festivals, family events, free events, and more. The website strives to be inclusive – featuring big names and small groups alike, giving the public access to all the Hot Hits & Hidden Jewels Metro DC has to offer.

The website was introduced in June 2008 by the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington, connects people to the heart of the thriving arts and culture community throughout Metro DC including the District of Columbia; Montgomery, Prince George’s, Arlington and Fairfax counties; and the City of Alexandria.
