PROGRAM: Confluence Story Gatherings

Presented by:

Local Partner: Other Subject: Cross-Cultural Understanding, History, Indigenous Peoples Audience: All

During the winter and spring, Confluence will present a series of Story Gatherings, public forums that will broaden participants’ understanding of the Columbia River system by highlighting Indigenous stories. These events are story-driven discussions that will explore the interconnectedness of the people and places of the Columbia River.

At each event, participants will watch or listen to first-person stories produced by NW Documentary, which will then be followed by a panel discussion between Native elders, leaders, and writers. The council co-sponsors this series, which is free and open to the public.
