In recognition of the importance of the humanities both in helping Americans to understand the experiences of service members and in assisting veterans as they return to civilian life, the Florida Humanities Council has partnered with the Smithsonian Institution to bring the acclaimed 100 Faces of War traveling exhibit to Florida in 2018-19.

The exhibit is scheduled to tour nationally from May 2018 to January 2022. FHC has already awarded funds to the Museum of Arts & Sciences in Daytona Beach to host the exhibit from Sept. 1 to Nov. 25, 2018. A second Florida venue will be selected through the council’s application process to host from December 15, 2018 to March 10, 2019.
