In honor of Montana’s 150th anniversary in 2014, Humanities Montana Executive Director Ken Egan assembled a list of literary treasures. According to Egan, the ten books included in the list “illuminate what life was like in Montana during its territorial days” and “are guaranteed to transport readers to another place and time.”

This resource is part of the Montana Center for the Book program.
