PROGRAM: Latino Americans: 500 Years of History

“Latino Americans: 500 Years of History” is a partnership grant project between the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association. As one of 203 grant recipients from across the country, Humanities Nebraska received financial support and the six-part, NEH-supported documentary film “Latino Americans” created for PBS in 2013. A series of programs are currently being held in six Nebraska communities, including film screenings and discussions in Scottsbluff, Grand Island, Schuyler, South Sioux City, Lexington, and Omaha.
