Three Year Sustaining Grants are intended to help organizations fund ongoing, humanities-centered programs for a period of three years. Supported programs include:
- Ongoing radio shows which occur regularly using the same format with changing content
- Recurring annual programs such as festival or national academic events
- Recurring lecture series
Humanities Montana encourages organizations to apply for a Three Year Sustaining Grant when their proposed program will stimulate statewide dialogue on humanities topics, foster discussion between humanities scholars and the public, strengthen cooperative relationships among communities and cultural organizations, and enrich civic discourse among the state’s diverse cultures and across its geographical distances.
Grants will be awarded to organizations on a competitive basis. Grant applications are accepted year-round and are reviewed once a year following the Dec. 20th deadline.
Upcoming Deadline: Ongoing; Dec. 20
