The above photo is from Cable, Wisconsin, the final stop on the Wisconsin tour of Between Fences. Cable is located in the northern part of the state, where much of the area is forested, and the population is sparse. Visitors to the Between Fences exhibition at the Cable Natural History Museum can meander through a maze of about 15 types of fence, all donated by Cable Lumber and Home, and visit the nearby Cable History Museum to learn more about the region. The Between Fences tour was organized by the Wisconsin Humanities Council.
