Registration Now Open for Humanities on the Hill 2016
Deadline to Register is February 22, 2016
[Arlington, VA] – Members are invited to register for the annual Humanities on the Hill sponsored by the Federation of State Humanities Councils. Humanities on the Hill brings together state council members, partners and congressional representatives from across the nation and U.S. territories to support and advocate for funding for the National Endowment for the Humanities.
From March 1 to March 3, council members will conduct office visits with their representatives, participate in a briefing, a members-only debrief, and a congressional reception. Participants will have the opportunity to share advocacy best practices and ideas with council members, the NEH, partners and other supporters. For more information about Humanities on the Hill, please visit our event page. Here you will find the event schedule, hotel and travel information, the latest news and updates, and other event materials. Check back often as we’ll be posting the online invitation to Wednesday evening’s congressional reception, along with other advocacy materials by the end of the month.
